What a week-end!

Savannah Magazine helped to sponsor two major events in Savannah this past week-end; The Susan G. Komen For the Cure 5-K run and 1-mile walk; and The 9th Annual Savannah Garden Exposition.

The race started and ended at the Jepson Center for the Arts and the Garden Expo was held at the Roundhouse Railroad Museum.

How cool is our city?  There were several other events going on all over town in addition to these two fabulous happenings.

Tonight I was listening to a radio show about  Forbes: America's Most Liveable Cities right now.  You know, I kept waiting for our city's name to be announced! It was not mentioned, mainly because the cities were chosen primarily for economic reasons.

I guess I was certain we were in the top 15 because I think our city has so very much to offer. And this week-end was a really fine taste of that!
