At 7pm will be the screening of “Died Young Stayed Pretty” followed by a question and answer session with producer, director, cinematographer and editor Eileen Yaghoobian, and at 9pm will be the screening of “Veer.”
“Died Young, Stayed Pretty” (2008) is a candid look at the underground poster culture in North America.
“Veer” (2009), narrated by actor and bicycle enthusiast Matthew Modine, explores America’s fast-growing bicycling culture by profiling five people whose lives are inextricably tied to bicycling and the bike-centric social groups to which they belong.

Through August 31: “Persian Visions: Contemporary Photography from Iran.” The first survey of contemporary Iranian photography to tour the U.S., providing a rare and revealing view of Iranian life and experiences.
Through August 31: “Counter Photography: Japan’s Artists Today.” Works by 11 contemporary Japanese artists. The exhibition challenges many commonly-held beliefs about the nature of photography. -

Once the headquarters of the venerable Central of Georgia Railroad and now a college art museum, the landmark Greek Revival building epitomizes the elegance of mid-19th-century architecture. Exhibition assistance was provided through a grant from the Georgia Humanities Council. Complementing the historical overview of the building is a small photographic exhibition that documents the recently completed exterior preservation of the structure, a project made possible by a major Save America's Treasures federal grant and additional assistance from the Charles A. Frueauff Foundation and the Frances Wood Wilson Foundation.

Cartographers include Wytfliet, Hondius, Monath, Lotter, d'Anville, Faden, Lodge, Cary and Wyld.

Description:Learn about the preservation and care of the Isaiah Davenport House, recipient of the Preserve America Presidential Award. The museum’s director will lead a tour in and around the home discussing the recent restoration, maintenance issues and techniques for preserving the site for the long term. The tour is limited to twelve people and areas will be visited that are not regularly on tour. The experience will end in the garden with light refreshments.

Patrons will be oriented to the history of tea and tea traditions relating to the early 19th century consumer. They will tour areas of the home where tea service took place and will participate in an afternoon tea given with costumed interpreters. 60 minutes.
Thursdays, some Fridays and one Wednesday in March 2010 (4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 24 and 25)
