Rethink Design Studio transformed the Morris Center into a playful party palace, as more than 800 Savannahians turned out to fête the city’s favorites at the 12th annual Best of Savannah Party™, Sept. 5.

Presented by Livingood’s and Kitchen Aid, the event—themed Best in Show—honored Savannah magazine’s readers’ choices for the ultimate in dining, nightlife, shopping, community, people, doctors and other more.
It was a moveable feast as partygoers sampled ceviche from A.lure Lowcountry Cuisine, pulled pork from Wiley’s Championship Barbecue, cupcakes from Gigi’s, a debut cookie from Back in the Day Bakery and other winners in the dining category.
Our Sept./Oct. cover model, Stratton Leopold, dished out scoops of hometown favorites, while top caterer Paul Kennedy served chocolate-covered bacon. Even American Kennel Club Champ “Stitch,” who graced the cover with Stratton, made an appearance.

Revelers ran into the likes of Forrest Gump on the Old Savannah Tour trolleys making the rounds. Ten-time top television personality, Sonny Dixon, mingled with guests as WRHQ 105.3 Quality Rock played tunes that elevated the festive atmosphere, which carried on long after the party was over.
