After 12 years, even the best can use a little freshening up. That’s why the Savannah magazine party at the Morris Center on Sept. 5 will be like nothing Savannah has ever seen.
Sure, we’re still showcasing the winners of our annual Best of Savannah™ reader poll. We’re still hosting the number one networking event of the year. But, with the help of Joel and Erika Snayd of Rethink Design Studio, we’re celebrating the best in a whole new way.
Inspired by the fine Southern tradition of pageantry (and a certain offbeat Christopher Guest comedy), Joel and Erika have created “Best in Show”—a signature, branded experience for the readers of Savannah magazine. And, without giving too much away, we’ll tell you that the décor is only the beginning.
“It’s not the usual dog-and-pony show,” Joel joked affectionately at a recent strategy session with our fabulous event coordinator, Tammy Moseley Ray of The Detail Department. “We want to be playful and tongue-in-cheek and give people something to talk about.”
(Sounds like a certain city magazine we know.)
